Based in Houston, Texas, George Metals is a leading producer and supplier of premium stainless steel goods, such as the robust and adaptable SS 410 Hollow Bars. These bars are extensively used in the construction, automotive, aerospace, and petroleum industries and are renowned for their strength, resistance to corrosion, and precision engineering. George Metals produces products that surpass performance standards by combining sophisticated manufacturing techniques with strict quality control. Our SS 410 hollow bars are perfect for applications that need both structural integrity and resistance to moderate corrosion and oxidation because they are designed to be dependable and long-lasting.
Martensitic stainless steel, which makes up SS 410 Hollow Bars, is mainly composed of 11.5–13.5% chromium and 0.15% maximum carbon, with trace amounts of silicon, manganese, phosphorus, and sulfur. This composition offers a good balance between moderate corrosion resistance and high tensile strength (approximately 500–700 MPa). Following heat treatment, SS 410 can be hardened to a hardness of 40–50 HRC, providing exceptional toughness, machinability, and wear resistance. Because of these characteristics, SS 410 can be used in mechanical and structural components that are subjected to high stress and mild corrosion.

SS 420 hollow bars are commonly used in industries like medical, cutlery, and tooling due to their high hardness and corrosion resistance. They are also utilized in pump shafts, valve components, and marine applications requiring strength and durability.
SS 420 hollow bars' excellent wear resistance enhances their performance by ensuring durability in high-friction environments. This property makes them ideal for cutting tools, medical instruments, and mechanical components, reducing maintenance needs and extending service life in demanding applications.
SS 420 hollow bars offer moderate high-temperature resistance but are generally not ideal for prolonged exposure to extreme heat. Their performance is best in applications requiring hardness and corrosion resistance under controlled or moderately elevated temperature conditions.
Industries that require strength, resistance to wear, and moderate corrosion protection frequently use SS 410 hollow bars. They are utilized for fasteners, bolts, and shafts in the automotive industry. These bars are used in aerospace for precise and strong structural components and fittings. Because SS 410 can function in oxidizing conditions, it is used in the oil and gas and petroleum industries for valves, pumps, and tubing. They are also used in construction components, food processing machinery, and marine applications where their long service life, durability, and economical use of materials offer vital operational advantages.

We provide products that come with both mill test certificates and third-party test certificates, ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance.
