Based in Chennai, India, Vinit Stainless is a well-known producer and supplier of Titanium Grade 7 Bars and Rods. Known for providing high-performance titanium products, we provide precisely engineered bars and rods that satisfy international quality standards to a variety of industries. Particularly in extremely acidic and reducing environments, titanium Grade 7, an alloy of titanium and a trace amount of palladium, provides exceptional corrosion resistance. At Vinit Stainless, we offer specialised dimensions and specifications to meet a range of industrial requirements, providing reliable and reasonably priced titanium solutions to industries like chemical processing, marine, power generation, and pollution control.
Commercially pure titanium is used to make Titanium Grade 7 bars and rods, which have 0.12% to 0.25 percent palladium added for increased corrosion resistance. Titanium (balance), oxygen (maximum 0.25%), nitrogen (maximum 0.03%), hydrogen (maximum 0.015%), carbon (maximum 0.08%), iron (maximum 0.30%), and palladium are among the constituents. With a tensile strength of about 345 MPa, yield strength of about 275 MPa, and elongation of more than 20%, Grade 7 provides mechanical qualities comparable to Grade 2. This alloy is perfect for harsh chemical environments and crucial engineering applications because it combines exceptional formability, weldability, and corrosion resistance.

No, Titanium Grade 7 Bars and Rods do not attract magnets. Titanium, including Grade 7, is a non-ferromagnetic material, meaning it has little to no magnetic properties and is not attracted to magnets.
In industries where resistance to corrosive environments is crucial, titanium grade 7 bars and rods are widely used. They are perfect for chemical processing facilities, desalination systems, and marine applications because of their exceptional resistance to reducing acids, chlorides, and saltwater, which is made possible by the addition of palladium. Reactor systems exposed to aggressive media, pressure vessels, and heat exchangers also use them. Because of its ductility and weldability, Grade 7 can be used for intricate fabrication in power plants and pollution control systems. It is also used in food processing and pharmaceutical equipment, where corrosion resistance and hygienic practices are crucial.

We provide products that come with both mill test certificates and third-party test certificates, ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance.
