What is Titanium Grade 12 Bars/ Rods?

Titanium Grade 12 Bars/Rods are alpha-phase alloys that contain 0.8% nickel and 0.3% molybdenum. When compared to commercially pure grades, these additions increase strength and corrosion resistance. Grade 12 has an elongation of about 18%, a yield strength of about 345 MPa, and a tensile strength of about 483–550 MPa. In environments containing chloride, it provides exceptional resistance to stress corrosion cracking and crevice corrosion, as well as moderate strength and excellent weldability. Because it retains its formability and durability under a variety of service conditions, it is perfect for demanding industrial applications.
