Titanium Grade 1 Bar is a commercially pure titanium alloy containing about 99.5% titanium content. It has trace levels of iron (0.2%), oxygen (0.18%), nitrogen (0.03%), carbon (0.08%), and hydrogen (0.015%). This grade has a high formability and corrosion resistance. It has a tensile strength of 240 MPa (35 ksi), yield strength of 170 MPa (25 ksi), and elongation of 24%. Having low density and toughness, Titanium Grade 1 is suitable for light weight structural applications where corrosion resistance is needed.
