With its headquarters located in Midland, USA, George Metals is a reputable manufacturer and supplier of high-end titanium products, with a focus on superior Titanium Grade 7 Forgings. We provide titanium components that are renowned for their strength, longevity, and exceptional resistance to corrosion thanks to our years of metallurgical experience and precision engineering. Our Titanium Grade 7 forgings are perfect for use in the chemical processing, pharmaceutical, and aerospace industries because they meet the highest performance standards. In order to give industries the most dependable titanium products for demanding and corrosive applications, we at George Metals are dedicated to providing individualized solutions, dependable delivery, and exceptional customer service.
Titanium Grade 7 Forgings are made up of 90–95% titanium and 0.12–0.25% palladium to improve corrosion resistance, especially in environments that are acidic and chloride-rich. Additional elements that contribute to the stability and strength of the alloy include iron (≤ 0.3%), carbon (≤ 0.08%), nitrogen (≤ 0.03%), oxygen (≤ 0.25%), and hydrogen (≤ 0.015%). Excellent mechanical qualities are demonstrated by grade 7 titanium, which has a tensile strength of 450–550 MPa, a yield strength of about 275 MPa, and an elongation of about 20%. This alloy is appropriate for demanding operating environments because it has an outstanding strength-to-weight ratio and remarkable corrosion resistance.

Yes, Titanium Grade 7 (Ti-0.2Pd) is highly corrosion-resistant, especially in harsh environments like seawater and acidic conditions, due to the addition of palladium, enhancing its ability to resist corrosion.
Titanium Grade 7 forgings are commonly used in industries like aerospace, chemical processing, marine, medical, and power generation due to their exceptional corrosion resistance, strength, and biocompatibility in challenging environments.
Titanium Grade 7 forgings are available in various sizes and shapes, including bars, billets, rings, discs, and custom configurations, typically ranging from small to large diameters for different industrial applications.
The aerospace, chemical processing, and medical industries all make extensive use of titanium grade 7 forgings, which are prized for their exceptional resistance to corrosion. Because of their strength and light weight, they are utilized in aerospace for engine parts and aircraft structures. Because Grade 7 is resistant to extremely corrosive environments, it is utilized in the chemical industry for reactors, heat exchangers, piping, and valves. Because of its durability and biocompatibility, the medical industry uses this grade in surgical components, joint replacements, and dental implants. It is a preferred material for long-term, high-stress applications because of its performance in corrosive and biologically sensitive environments.
