Brian Fasteners is a leading Houston-based, USA manufacturer and supplier of Titanium Forgings. We specialize in the manufacture of high-performance titanium parts engineered for strength, corrosion protection, and lightweight efficiency. Our forgings are produced by the latest technology equipment and meet international aerospace, marine, and industrial standards. Forged discs, rings, or custom shapes – you name it. Our precision products are designed to your project specifications. Renowned for great service, timely delivery, and uncompromising quality control, Brian Fasteners is your best partner for titanium forging solutions for challenging industries.
Titanium Forgings are usually produced from commercially pure titanium (Grade 2) or titanium alloys such as Ti-6Al-4V (Grade 5). Grade 2 is made up of ~99.2% titanium, having superior corrosion resistance and moderate strength. Grade 5 includes 6% aluminum, 4% vanadium, and balances titanium to give tensile strengths of up to 950 MPa. Yield strength ranges from 275 MPa (Grade 2) to 880 MPa (Grade 5). These forgings are light, biocompatible, and have strength at high temperatures. They possess superior fatigue life, are weldable, and can be heat-treated for improved mechanical performance.

The durability of titanium forgings is ensured by factors such as alloy composition, proper heat treatment, precise forging processes, surface finishing, and resistance to corrosion, wear, and extreme temperatures in demanding environments.
The typical tensile strength of titanium forgings ranges from 900 to 1,200 MPa, depending on the alloy and heat treatment, offering excellent strength-to-weight ratio for various high-performance applications.
Closed-die forging in titanium production involves shaping the titanium metal between two pre-shaped dies under high pressure, ensuring precise dimensions, improved strength, and a refined grain structure for high-performance applications.
Titanium Forgings find wide applications in aerospace, marine, medical, and chemical processing industries. In aerospace, they‘re well-suited for turbine parts, landing gear components, and airframe structures. In medicine, they are employed in orthopedic implants and surgical instruments because of their biocompatibility. Valves, heat exchangers, and flanges in chemical plants use titanium forgings because of corrosion resistance. They’re also utilized in offshore and marine applications, withstanding saltwater corrosion. Strong and light, titanium forgings provide superior lifecycle performance for high-stress, corrosive, and weight-constrained applications and are a critical component of sophisticated engineering undertakings.
