S32760 (UNS S32760) is a super duplex stainless steel having ~25–26% chromium, 3–5% molybdenum, 7–8% nickel, 0.24–0.32% nitrogen, along with balancing iron. It has tensile strength of about 890–1000 MPa and yield strength of about 550 MPa. It has superior pitting and crevice corrosion resistance (PREN ≥ 40) and satisfactory chloride stress corrosion cracking resistance. With a high elastic modulus and good toughness, these bars retain strength to 300 °C. They’re weldable (with proper procedures) and maintain excellent structural integrity in harsh environments.
