Stainless Steel 410 is a martensitic stainless steel that contains 11.5–13.5% chromium and 0.08–0.15% carbon, along with small amounts of manganese, silicon, phosphorus, and sulfur. After undergoing heat treatment, it can reach a Rockwell hardness of up to 50 HRC, with tensile strength varying from 500 to 700 MPa, depending on its condition. It offers good wear resistance, magnetic properties, and moderate corrosion resistance in less aggressive environments. SS 410 also maintains good mechanical stability under thermal stress, making it suitable for applications that involve high temperatures and mild corrosive conditions.
