The stabilised austenitic stainless steel 321H Hex Bars/Rods has a higher carbon content (~0.04–0.10%) for increased high-temperature strength, along with about 17–19% Chromium and 9–12% Nickel. To stop carbide precipitation, titanium (at least five times the carbon content) is added. The material has an elongation of 40%, a yield strength of 205 MPa, and a tensile strength of about 515 MPa. In addition to having good weldability and corrosion resistance, it exhibits outstanding creep and stress rupture resistance at high temperatures. Because of these characteristics, it can withstand extended exposure to high temperatures without losing structural integrity.
