Stainless Steel 317L Flat Bar is a molybdenum-containing austenitic stainless steel with low carbon and is made up of around 18–20% chromium, 11–15% nickel, and 3–4% molybdenum. The lower content of carbon improves weldability and reduces the risk of intergranular corrosion. It provides a tensile strength of approximately 515 MPa and a yield strength of 205 MPa.
