**Stainless Steel 316Ti Forgings** consist of 16–18% chromium, 10–14% nickel, 2–3% molybdenum, and a minor addition of titanium (usually around 0.5%) for stabilization against intergranular corrosion. These forgings possess a tensile strength of about 550 MPa and a yield strength of about 240 MPa. The addition of titanium provides improved resistance to sensitization on welding and higher temperature exposure, which renders the 316Ti condition capable of continuous service up to 870°C.
