Nitronic 50 Bar and Rod is a nitrogen-strengthened austenitic stainless steel alloy that has around 20–23.5% chromium, 11–13% nickel, 4–6% manganese, and minor additions of molybdenum and nitrogen. It provides almost double the yield strength of 316 stainless steel with superior toughness and corrosion resistance. The product-Nitronic 50 Bar and Rod-offers tensile strength of up to 690 MPa and superior resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and chloride stress corrosion cracking. It is available in different conditions and can be used in corrosive and high-load environments.
