Brian Fasteners, with its Houston, USA base, manufactures and supplies Nimonic R04261 rods and bars through vacuum melting, hot working, and individualized aging methods. This nickel superalloy is designed to deliver excellent creep strength and oxidation resistance for use in aerospace and industrial turbine applications. Each bar is stringently dimensionally and metallurgically tested for quality. Supplying sophisticated aerospace and gas-turbine applications, Brian Fasteners provides custom bar lengths, rapid delivery, and technical assistance. Their superior performance Nimonic R04261 bars are used in critical structural and hot-section components where dependability under harsh thermal conditions is critical.
Nimonic R04261 has ~60% Ni, 15–17% Cr, 10–12% Co, and trace Al and Ti with carbon <0.1%. It shows tensile strength of 1,000–1,500 MPa, yield strength 700–1,200 MPa, and elongation of 15–25%. Gamma-prime strengthened, it shows creep resistance up to 800 °C. The alloy is high in oxidation and corrosion resistance, and controlled microstructure enhances its fatigue resistance. Nimonic R04261 is designed for ultra-high temperature structural stability.

Yes, Nimonic R04261 rod can be coated with high-temperature resistant coatings like thermal spray coatings, ceramic coatings, or chrome plating for improved oxidation and corrosion resistance in harsh environments.
Nimonic R04261 rods typically come in standard sizes ranging from 3/16" to 3" in diameter, with lengths commonly available in 3 to 12 feet, depending on the supplier.
Yes, Nimonic R04261 bars can be recycled after use. As a high-performance nickel-chromium alloy, it retains its properties through recycling, making it suitable for reuse in manufacturing processes.
Brian Fasteners‘ Nimonic R04261 rods and bars are applied in high-pressure turbine shafts, discs, combustor liners, and hot-section internals in aircraft engines. Industrial gas turbines employ them for rotors, seals, and vane supports. They find application in power generation in components experiencing extreme stress and temperature. Their creep and fatigue strength are appropriate for applications such as aero-engine structural components and high-temperature fasteners. Brian Fasteners maintains Nimonic R04261 bars to stringent specifications for performance-critical engineering systems that have a need for superior hot-section durability.
