Houston, USA-based Brian Fasteners manufactures and supplies Nimonic 90 bars and rods through high-technology vacuum melting, hot extrusion, and aging operations. Nimonic 90 is a nickel-based superalloy known for its outstanding high-temperature strength and resistance to corrosion. Strict dimensional and metallurgical testing ensures each bar has tight specifications. With capabilities to serve the aerospace, gas-turbine, and thermal power markets, the company provides custom lengths, quick delivery, and engineering support. As a dependable supplier, Brian Fasteners assures that Nimonic 90 bars and rods provide uniform performance in challenging high-temperature structural and engine uses in the American market.
Nimonic 90 contains around 60–65% nickel, 20–22% chromium, 10–12% cobalt, with minor additions of aluminum and titanium (~1%), and carbon <0.1%. It has tensile strength of 900–1,400 MPa, yield strength 600–1,000 MPa, and elongation 15–25%. It has good creep and rupture resistance up to 700 °C. Aging treatment precipitates gamma-prime for improved mechanical properties. The alloy has good oxidation and carburization resistance due to chromium and alumina-forming elements, and thus it is ideal for corrosive high-temperature conditions.

Yes, Nimonic 90 bars are highly suitable for high-temperature applications. They are known for excellent strength, oxidation resistance, and stability at elevated temperatures, making them ideal for aerospace and turbine components.
Yes, Nimonic 90 bar can be welded, but it requires careful control of heat and welding parameters. Typically, TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding is recommended for best results.
Nimonic 90 rod is available in various sizes, typically from 1/8" to 12" in diameter. Common finishes include cold drawn, hot rolled, or bright polished, depending on the supplier.
Brian Fasteners‘ Nimonic 90 rods and bars are utilized in high-pressure turbine shafts, discs, and combustor components in aerospace and power-generation turbines. They can be used in hot-section fasteners and structural supports that are exposed to austenitic temperatures. Industrial furnaces employ them as load-bearing high-temperature fixtures. They are employed by the petrochemical industry in high-temperature reactor internals. Their oxidation resistance and strength combination makes them suitable for the most critical rotating as well as static parts. Brian Fasteners guarantees Nimonic 90 rods according to specifications for high-heat, high-stress operation to undertake demanding engineering applications.
