George Metals in Houston, USA, is a prominent producer and distributor of high-performance alloys like Nimonic 263 Bars and Rods. Established as a quality and reliable organization, George Metals supplies materials designed to withstand the extreme needs of the aerospace, power generation, and high-temperature industrial processes. The Nimonic 263 products of George Metals are produced with stringent quality control to ensure high strength, weldability, and thermal fatigue resistance. Blending sophisticated production technology and skilled metallurgical expertise, George Metals assists international customers through timely delivery, technical assistance, and tailored solutions for intricate engineering problems.
Nimonic 263 Bars and Rods consist of a nickel-based alloy consisting of about 49–55% nickel, 19–21% chromium, 19–21% cobalt, 5.6–6.1% molybdenum, 1.9–2.4% titanium, and minor quantities of aluminum, iron, and other elements. These bars have superior mechanical properties, such as tensile strength of 940–1000 MPa, yield strength of 550–585 MPa, and elongation of 39–45%. Application in the high-temperature conditions, Nimonic 263 provides superior resistance to creep and oxidation up to 900°C and good weldability as well as fabricability and hence can be applied to wrought, as well as welded, structures.

Nimonic 263 Bars and Rods have extensive application in conditions that require both strength and resistance to heat. In the aviation industry, they are used in gas turbine parts like combustion chambers, casings, transition ducts, and sealing rings. In power generation equipment, they find application in high-temperature steam systems, piping, and structural supports. They are best suited for use in welded assemblies under thermal stress due to their superior creep resistance and weldability. Nimonic 263 is also used in chemical processing units and heat exchangers, where endurance and resistance to oxidation are important to ensure performance during long service life in high temperatures.

We provide products that come with both mill test certificates and third-party test certificates, ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance.
