Nilo Alloy K Bars and Rods

Nilo K alloy bars and rods contain around 29% nickel, 17% cobalt, and iron in balance, trace amounts of manganese (≤0.50%), silicon (≤0.20%), and carbon (≤0.04%). This novel combination makes the thermal expansion of the alloy closely comparable to that of ceramics and borosilicate glass. Mechanical properties in the as-annealed state are tensile strength of approximately 520 MPa, yield strength of approximately 340 MPa, and elongation ≥42%. Nilo K has a very low coefficient of thermal expansion (≈4.6–5.2 µm/m·°C within 20–400 °C) and superior dimensional stability, and therefore it is particularly suited for high-reliability thermal applications and precision sealing.
