Nickel Alloy 200 Bars and Rods consist of 99.0% minimum pure nickel with traces of iron (≤0.4%), manganese (≤0.35%), carbon (≤0.15%), and copper (≤0.25%). This commercially pure nickel alloy has superior corrosion resistance, especially in caustic alkali conditions. Its mechanical properties are tensile strength of around 380–450 MPa, yield strength of around 100 MPa, and elongation of around 40–45%. Nickel 200 has superior thermal and electrical conductivity, low gas content, and high ductility. Nickel 200 also sustains performance when used at cryogenic temperatures and is extremely formable and weldable, and therefore it can be suitably used in various industrial applications.
