George Metals, based in Houston, USA, is a reliable manufacturer and supplier known for its high-performance Monel Forgings. These products are designed to offer exceptional corrosion resistance, toughness, and reliability, even in the toughest conditions. Adhering to strict ASTM, ASME, and international standards, our nickel-copper alloy forgings come in various grades, including Monel 400 and Monel K500, to cater to a wide range of industrial needs. We produce Monel Forgings in custom shapes, sizes, and configurations—like rings, discs, shafts, and flanges—ensuring excellent mechanical integrity and precise dimensions. Industries such as marine, oil and gas, chemical processing, aerospace, and power generation trust George Metals for consistent quality and reliable supply.
Monel Forgings are nickel-copper alloys that typically consist of about 63% nickel and 30–34% copper, along with trace amounts of iron, manganese, carbon, and silicon. Monel 400 boasts a tensile strength of around 550 MPa and remarkable toughness across a wide temperature range. On the other hand, Monel K500, which is age-hardened with aluminum and titanium, offers a tensile strength that exceeds 965 MPa and enhanced hardness. Both alloys excel in resisting seawater, hydrofluoric acid, and alkalis, while also providing good weldability and thermal conductivity. Their unique blend of strength, corrosion resistance, and durability makes them perfect for critical components in harsh environments.

Monel Forgings are essential in applications that require top-notch corrosion resistance and mechanical performance. In the marine industry, they are commonly used in propeller shafts, pump components, seawater valves, and hardware that comes into contact with saltwater. The oil and gas sector relies on Monel forgings for downhole tools, wellhead equipment, and processing systems that deal with sour gas and chlorides. Chemical processing plants choose them for reactors, heat exchanger parts, and systems that handle acids. Aerospace manufacturers incorporate them into fuel systems and other critical components, ensuring safety and reliability in their operations.

We provide products that come with both mill test certificates and third-party test certificates, ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance.
