Houston, USA-based George Metals is a well-established Inconel Flat Bars manufacturer and supplier, providing high-performance nickel-chromium alloy products ideal for utilization under extreme temperature conditions and highly corrosive environments. ASTM B166 and associated specifications-compliant, George Metals’ Inconel Flat Bars offer excellent strength, oxidation resistance, and workability. Coming in grades including Inconel 600, 625, 718, and X-750, these bars find extensive application in aerospace, marine, chemical processing, and power generation industries. George Metals provides custom sizes, close tolerances, and technical assistance from experienced professionals to achieve the highest quality and performance levels.
Inconel Flat Bars consist usually of 58–72% nickel, 14–23% chromium, and other constituents like molybdenum, cobalt, iron, niobium, and titanium, based on the grade of the alloy. These bars have superior mechanical properties such as tensile strengths between 690 MPa and more than 1240 MPa, good creep strength, and very good fatigue resistance. Inconel’s resistance to maintaining its mechanical strength at high temperatures (up to 1000 °C+) and corrosion from acidic, alkaline, and saline systems makes it suitable for extreme engineering applications. These flat bars also exhibit good weldability, machinability, and surface stability under high stress levels.

Inconel Flat Bars have applications in numerous processes that need optimum resistance to heat and corrosion. They find applications in aerospace for the application to turbine blades, exhaust systems, and structural brackets. In the chemical and petrochemical industries, they are used in heat exchangers, reactors, and piping systems subjected to aggressive media. The marine and offshore industry uses Inconel in components in saltwater conditions, such as fasteners and support structures. They are applied in power generation in steam turbines and nuclear reactor components. Their high strength, toughness, and resistance to thermal cycling qualify Inconel Flat Bars for the most demanding and corrosive industrial applications.

We provide products that come with both mill test certificates and third-party test certificates, ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance.
