Inconel 718 is a nickel–chromium–iron alloy with 17–21% Cr, 2.8–3.3% Mo, and ~0.9% Nb+Ta, Ti, and Al; C ~0.05%
. Tensile strength 1,200 to 1,500 MPa, yield strength 620–1,100 MPa, elongation 15–30%. Age-hardened through γ′ and γ″ precipitates, it exhibits good creep resistance to 650 °C, with high fatigue endurance and weldability.
