Houston, USA-based Brian Fasteners is a world-class manufacturer and supplier of Inconel 601 bars and rods intended to deliver exceptional performance in high-temperature carburizing and oxidation environments. Made by vacuum melting and hot working, these bars are designed for structural integrity in thermal cycling. Reliability is known to these bars, custom dimensions of Brian Fasteners, timely logistics, and full technical detail. Their Inconel 601 bars are used in aerospace, petrochemical, and heat treating industries where strength and resistance to oxidation are imperative at high temperatures.
Inconel 601 contains ~58–63% Ni, 21–25% Cr, 1.0–1.7% Al, and minor amounts of Fe (~14%) and Cu. It provides tensile strength of ~600–750 MPa, yield strength of ~250–400 MPa, and elongation of 30–45%. The addition of aluminum improves its spalling and oxidation resistance under thermal cycling up to 1200°C. Inconel 601 retains strength and oxidation resistance even under sulfur-containing or carburizing environments and is therefore appropriate for severe high-heat exposure.

Inconel 601 bars and rods are primarily used in high-temperature and high-pressure environments, including power plants, chemical processing, and nuclear reactors, due to their excellent resistance to oxidation, corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking.
Inconel 601 bars and rods offer superior resistance to oxidation and corrosion at elevated temperatures, excellent weldability, and strength, making them ideal for harsh environments in industries like aerospace, chemical processing, and energy production.
Brian Fasteners‘ Inconel 601 bars and rods find applications in heat-treating baskets, muffles, and retorts, thermal reactor chambers, furnace burners, and radiant tubes. They find applications in aerospace in exhaust ducts, flare stacks, and engine covers. They are employed in chemical and power industries in reformer tubes, petrochemical support grates, and insulation hangers. Their resistance to corrosion, oxidation, and heavy mechanical loads makes them a choice material for systems to withstand extreme thermal stress. Brian Fasteners guarantees each Inconel 601 bar meets demanding thermal environment specifications.
