At George Metals, based in Houston, USA, we pride ourselves on being a reliable manufacturer and supplier of Hastelloy C276 Forgings. These forgings are celebrated for their remarkable resistance to corrosive environments and their mechanical dependability. Hastelloy C276 is a unique alloy made of nickel, molybdenum, chromium, and a touch of tungsten, crafted to withstand harsh chemical conditions like strong oxidizers, acids, and chlorides. We offer a diverse selection of precision-forged components, including rings, blocks, shafts, discs, and custom shapes, all produced to meet ASTM B564 and other international standards. Our forgings find their place in various industries, such as chemical processing, marine, pollution control, pulp & paper, and pharmaceuticals, thanks to their long-lasting corrosion resistance.
Hastelloy C276 Forgings from George Metals are composed of nickel (the balance), 15–17% molybdenum, 14.5–16.5% chromium, 4–7% iron, and 3–4.5% tungsten, along with trace elements of cobalt, manganese, and vanadium. This specific blend grants exceptional resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking, even in the most challenging chemical environments. Our forged C276 boasts a tensile strength of around 760 MPa, a yield strength of about 283 MPa, and impressive ductility. Typically, these forgings undergo solution heat treatment to enhance their corrosion resistance and mechanical strength, making them perfect for demanding service conditions across a variety of industrial applications.
