When it comes to composition and mechanical properties, our Copper Nickel 70/30 Bars and Rods feature around 70% copper and 30% nickel, with minor additions of iron (about 0.4–0.6%) and manganese (around 0.5%) to boost their mechanical strength and corrosion resistance. This alloy provides impressive tensile strength of about 380 MPa, yield strength of roughly 150 MPa, and an elongation of at least 30%, along with remarkable thermal stability. Available in either an annealed or cold-worked state, our bars retain their strength and formability even when exposed to high-pressure seawater systems and industrial cooling processes, making them ideal for tough and demanding environments.
