C17510 contains ~0.4–0.7% beryllium, ~2.4–2.7% cobalt, and the remainder copper. It provides electrical conductivity of ~45–60% IACS. The alloy has a tensile strength of up to 860 MPa and excellent fatigue and thermal resistance. It is age-hardenable, machinable, and weldable. Its strength remains high at elevated temperatures, and it exhibits excellent dimensional stability. Meets ASTM and RWMA standards.
